Animal Adoption Scheme
Terms & Conditions
1. Any individual or organisations or corporate sectors can sponsor the food of the animals of the zoo for a period of 1, 3 or 6 Months & or 1 year.
2. Payment must be made through cheque/demand drafts in favour of ‘Sundarvan - CEE, Ahmedabad’.
3. Donation accepted under this scheme will be used towards providingproper care, nutritious feed and veterinary treatment to the adopted animals.
4. An adoption card will be provided to the animal adopter.
5. All other zoo rules & regulations shall be applicable to the adopter.
6. Adopters will not be allowed to touch, handle, play with or enter into the animal enclosures, as per the guidelines of Central ZooAuthority, New Delhi.
7. The adopted animals would be looked after and managed in the zooitself by the zoo staff.
8. No adopted animal will be allowed to be taken outside the zoopremises nor anyadopter will be entitled to claim ownership rights on the adopted animal.
9. Adopters are not allowed to feed any animal in the zoo and will alsonot be authorized to alter their feed regimen.
10. Care of the any sick animals will be taken in the zoo with theguidance of experts and the adopters do not have any right tointerfere in the treatment of animal.
11. Adopter will not have any rights to interfere in the zoo managementand areprohibited from putting any sort of influence or pressure byany means on the zoo administration.
12. The final decision whether to allow a adopter to adopt the zooanimals on theavailability of animals lies with the zoo administration.
13. If adopter does not obey the above prescribed terms & conditions thenthe rights of sponsorship cancellation without refunding the adoptionfee are reserved with the Management of Sundarvan.
14. Any legal dispute arising in the interpretation of the above terms andconditions should be addressed in the jurisdiction of the court in Ahmedabad city.

4. Two free entry to the zoo for four family members during the adoptionperiod within one year from the date of adoption.
5. Tax benefit under 80G
3 Months & above
1. Certificate of Adoption
2. Name on temporary board displayed in front ofadopted animal enclosure
3. Invitation for 10 family members to participate freely in ZooOrientation Programmewhich will be held during adoption period
4. Two free entry to the zoo for ten family members during the adoption period within one year from the date of adoption.
5. Sending information on all major activities and other happenings of the zoo.
6. Tax benefit under 80G
