The main objective of this project is to develop a centralized data warehouse so that reporting can be done in various forms and business can be driven accordingly. Here, the source systems are relational database and flat file. This oracle source system usually gets data from different kind of disparate source other sources which are handled by using Siebel Middleware technology. IN BI side, the main ETL layer is Informatica which pulls out the data and put it into the Centralized Data Warehouse which is again an Oracle Relational data base system. Here, ETL Informatica is solely responsible for loading the all dimension and fact tables which are in turn related to each other by different star schema data model. Beyond the data warehouse, the reporting part solely done by Business object reporting tool.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Doing End to End monitoring.
  • Working on Production Support Tickets on Global Resolution System(Ticketing Tool).
  • Now working on Service Now(Ticketing Tool) for Production support Issues.
  • Developed universes, reports using Web Intelligence and Desktop Intelligence.

According to IMS Health, one of every 12 prescriptions dispensed in the U.S. is a Mylan product.. This project is intended to bring up their reporting application using Business Objects. Data extraction is done from various data sources, compiled into one standard format in oracle CDW (Corporate data Warehouse).
