John Smith aged 9, killed accidentally by friend messing about. Saved.

Parents: Don and Brenda both saved

John Smith died So young, so tragic. It’s Like a robber has called by.

Sense of Bereavement of loss, betrayed (by God even), invaded, defeated.

The robber has done his worst. You might call his name ‘accidental’ or ‘careless’ but his real name is ‘satan’ - the ‘enemy of your soul’. God didn’t kill Little John, the robber did. He has stolen and continues to try and steal your faith, your peace, your joy.

Not a time yet to speak of tomorrow, to talk of forgiveness maybe,

But it is a time to give thanks – for the life of Little John

Give thanks that he was born again

Give thanks for the joy you all shared together.

Hebrew language – language of God - has no future tense. Has no way of putting tomorrow into words. Maybe today you understand a language where there is no tomorrow. So how can God give us any hope for the future?

Hebrew has no future tense - But there is one who is able to restore. There is one who is able to bring redemption, and repair. But there is one who creates a future where none exists.

This is the one who said to Abram when he was fatherless and his wife was barren and they were both very old: He said I have made you a father of many nations. Not I will make you (future tense) but I have made you (past tense). The loving God stands outside of time and calls forth a future out fog the ashes of our broken present.

And you know I would not want to mention all this to you at this tragic time, except that I know Little John would want all his friends gathered here to know about the God that he knew about. He would not want this opportunity to pass from you.

Littler John is in paradise today. He’s not in mourning. He is sad because we are sad, but he is not sad one little bit. He is experiencing the joy of heaven.

Not because I say so, but because the Lord Jesus said so. (John 11:25)

‘He that believes in me’ that’s the only qualification you need to spend eternity with the lover of your soul.

The God of eternity calls every one of us to use our free will, that gift of God that he has given us and will never take away. Today, I call you and Little John calls you to use your God given free will wisely.
Let us pray. Lord come into my life, I believe in you.
If that prayer is for you then say ‘Amen’ (Let it be), and tell me or somebody after.

Songwriting workshop

Song structure: sectional. Common forms include thirty-two-bar form, verse-chorus form, and the twelve-bar blues. Popular music songs traditionally use the same music for each verse of stanza of lyrics (as opposed to songs that are "through-composed", as used in classical music). The most common format is intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus (or refrain), verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge ("middle eight"), verse, chorus and outro.

Formal sections found in songs: the verse, chorus, bridge, hook, and refrain: The foundation of popular music is the "verse" and "chorus" structure. Pop and rock songs nearly always have both a verse and a chorus. The difference is that when the verse returns, it is almost always given a new set of lyrics, whereas the chorus usually retains the same set of lyrics every time The verse usually played first but exceptions abound.

The verse and chorus are usually repeated throughout a song though the bridge, intro, and coda (also called an "outro") are usually only used once. Some pop songs may have a solo section, particularly in rock or blues influenced pop.

"On the Street Where You Live" is a song with music by Frederick Loewe and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner from the 1956 Broadway musical My Fair Lady.

I have often walked
Down the street before,
But the pavement always
Stayed beneath my feet before.
All at once am I
Several stories high,
Knowing I'm on the street where you live.
Are there lilac trees
In the heart of town?
Can you hear a lark in any other part of town?
Does enchantment pour
Out of every door?
No, it's just on the street where you live.
And oh, the towering feeling
Just to know somehow you are near
The overpowering feeling
That any second you may suddenly appear.
People stop and stare
They don't bother me,
For there's no where else on earth
That I would rather be.
Let the time go by,
I won't care if I
Can be here on the street where you live.

No One else

I found out what it’s all about, I know it’s true

Jesus Christ has paid every price for me and you

When I’m all alone and I think about it I cry
When I understand that love is the reason why

I thank you for what you’ve done,
for sending your only son

when every hope had gone
He was the only one
to ever come and make the difference.

All my days I will stand amazed at what was done
To pay my debt no one else except God’s only son

When I’m all alone and I think about it I cry
When I get to think that love was the reason why

I thank you for what you’ve done,
for sending your only son

when every hope had gone
He was the only one
to ever come and make the difference.

No one else
No one else
No one else
No one else

THE HOUSE OF MIRACLES

Into the house of Miracles

Where God’s work is done

Into the House of Miracles we come

Inside the house of Miracles

The devil has no place

Inside the house of Miracles we are safe

It’s a Miracle…

When you find the strength you don’t know how

When a broken life gets turned around

When the Lord calls to you ‘Come on down’

Into the house of Miracles

Everybody sing

This is the House of Miracles we are in

-- SOLO --

Into the house of Miracles

Where God’s work is done

Into the House of Miracles we come

This is the House of Miracles

So let the music play

This is the House of Miracles today

The Dynamic of the Death Bed

What is happening? Or to be more correct, what has happened?

The two foremost world democracies, Britain and America, have seen election results in 2016 which have totally befuddled and humbled all predictions of professionals and the like. So much so, that even the winners themselves were surprised at the outcomes, because they, like us, believed the experts couldn’t possibly get it that wrong!
How is it possible, that all thosepollsters and pundits, all those clever analysts with the immense power of computerised data at their disposal, could have failed so miserablyin their estimation of the outcome?
This is like the blowing of a sudden wind at right angles to the set of all our weather vanes. It is a sobering social dynamic. Suddenly all our scientific wisdom is out of sync and of no value.

I call it The Dynamic of the Death Bed:-The sort of phenomenon that operates when things are in the balance.
It is well documented that people do unusual things on their death bed.

Long held beliefs can be overturned in the twinkling of an eye. Strongly held dispositions and arguments can be reversed. In fact death bed confessions carry a weight in law that other declarations do not. Put simply. when somebody is close to death things are very much in the balance. It is easier to tip the scales when carnal things begin to fade and deeper truths come into focus. But who is doing the tipping?

I believe from anecdotes and personal testimony, that people were influenced at the point of decision by the supernatural. It is probably impossible to argue anything else:In both election the losingside had a clear lead in opinion polls on polling day. On the day, the logicof their argument had won the day after ahard fought campaign.
It is a fact that God cannot change your heart when it is established, or to be more correct, God will not change it, because He has given you free will and it is a real gift. But here’s an amazing thing: As long as your heart is not set in stone, God is able to influence you in your decision making! You might even think your mind is made up, but deep down, if you don’t have a peace about it, you will act differently. How can that work? God speaks to your heart, not your mind.
You, like me, may not have liked the election outcome. But you have to admit that something biblical is going on here. The pollsters got it wrong because asmall but statistically significant number of people thought they would vote one way, but actually voted the other way when it came down to it!In so doing they changed the course of nations and I predict, of the world’s remaining history.
Brilliant!

THE SONG SHEET STORE

Individual song sheets are stored in alphabetized folders in the Filing Cabinet unless more than one copy of the same song exists, in which case the copies are stored in Plastic Sleeves, within Lever Arch files.

When Retrieving Song sheets:

When looking for copies of a song to distribute amongst your group, search the lever arch files FIRST for multiple copies, then check the filing cabinet.

When filing song sheets away:

a Plastic Sleeve should be used be whenever more than ONE copy of the same song exists. The Plastic Sleeves are sorted alphabetically in the Lever Arch Files.

SORTING CONVENTION USED

Songs are sorted ignoring any definite article in the title (‘the’ or ‘a’). For Example ‘The King of my Heart’ is sorted under ‘K’ not ‘T’

Song TITLES generally take priority over First Lines.
However the over-riding rule is answering the question:
‘What do most people call a song by?’ For example the song ‘10,000 reasons’ which could be filed under ‘1’ or ‘T’ for ‘Ten Thousand’ is probably better known by it’s Chorus Line: ‘Bless the Lord’. That being so, it should be filed under ‘B’ .

God has spoken a blessing over me which I speak over myself. He has declared favour and goodness toward me which has nothing to do with how good I am at anything.

God has favoured me with the gift of writing and Ilook forHim to raise my profile and my work at the right time.

Whenever I perform I do it with grace and geneality.

I am always ready to minister to people privately or publicly

I want to do and be all that God has ordained for me.
