1.0  Election of Cathaoirleach

Councillor Nick Killian was proposed by Councillor Leonard and seconded by Councillor Fitzgerald

Councillor Peter Higgins was proposed by Councillor Carey and seconded by Councillor Dillon Gallagher

The matter was put to a vote with the following result:

The outgoing Cathaoirleach declared Councillor Nick Killian elected Cathaoirleach as he attained the highest number of votes. Councillor Killian then took the chair.

Councillor Killian thanked his proposer and seconder and outlined his priorities for the coming year.

The County Manager congratulated the new Cathaoirleach on his election and advised that he had noted the issues raised by him.

2.0  Election of Leas Cathaoireach

Cllr Higgins was proposed by Cllr Carey and seconded by Cllr Dillon Gallagher

In the absence of any further proposals An Cathaoirleach declared Councillor Peter Higgins elected Leas Cathaoirleach.

3.0  To agree dates for Council Meetings for the coming year
