BREAKING OFF

If a player does not pot any balls after breaking off then the second player must nominate his/her colour to the referee before they take their shot. To constitute a legal break, at least two balls must touch and cushions. If a player has two shots from the break and nothing has been potted, he/she may nominate a colour on the second shot, although if he/she nominates on the first shot, this is alright, but first choice is final.

EIGHT BALL RULE

To constitute a legal 8 Baller the player must pot all seven of their balls and the black at their first visit to the table. (If a player has two shots on their first visit to the table and they fail to pot on their first shot, an 8baller can still be achieved using their second shot) Both captains must sign the score card to confirm this in the box marked 8 Ballers. Eight ball winners will be awarded a cash prize with the amount at the committee’s discretion. Also an additional prize of £20 will be awarded to the player who has the most 8 Ballers.

COLLECTION TROPHY/PRIZE MONEY
