Progression of Lessons of what we will be doing in class...

Friday, November 8:We will go to the computer lab and students will review the list myths/legends and then they will choose the story for their project.

______

Monday,

November 11:Students will need to decide at this time what kind of visual they will need for their project. Students will create an image (half-size poster board) of their myth/legend. They may bring this half-size poster board to class, as well as any colors they will need to complete their drawing. It will need to be in color. The picture will need to take up the whole half-size poster. (2nd & 3rd Period students will need to complete this for homework due to Veterans Day Assembly, however there will be time in class during the week to complete it.)

______

Tuesday,

November 12:"What is fact? What is a myth?" These definitions will need to be on the visual someway. Then, columns need to be created. Students will use their myth/legend and determine which bits of information are facts, and which bits are myths. Students will need to complete the graphic organizer prior to transferring the information to their visual. The graphic organizer will be due on the day of the project.

______

Wednesday & Thursday,

November 13-14:Students may use this time in class to prepare their visuals. We will be going to the computer lab, so students who may want to do PowerPoint need to bring their jump drives during this time. Students who are working on material visuals (such as poster boards, t-shirts, trifold boards, etc.) will need to bring everything to class to work on these together. They will get two full days of class time to prepare.
