Sales Executive

Successful, growing, multi-national logistics provider has an exciting career opportunity for an outside Sales Representative!
The successful individual will:
Profitably sell international transportation, consolidation, and value-added services.
Be hungry and resourceful, relentlessly seeking, qualifying and pursuing leads.
Generate new business and manage relationships with existing clients.
Provide customized solutions to clients' supply chain needs.
Present company services and respond to RFIs and RFQs in a professional, timely manner.
Meet growth requirements and maintain a fluid pipeline of opportunities.
Work with internal staff to ensure most efficient service expectations are being met.
Have a proactive, positive attitude and a customer-service oriented mindset.

Experience in the Europe market a plus.

Traffic Manager

This position has the responsibility to provide exceptional customer service by focusing on the individual needs of each customer directly or through the support of the other team members, promoting long-term customer relationships and customer loyalty.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Communicate with trucking companies, shipping lines and customers

- Coordinate and schedule pick-up and delivery with trucking companies

- Book containers with steamship lines as needed

- Issue instructions for export shipments

- Invoice customers

- Establish good relationships with customers and vendors

- Update and maintain shipment information in our in-house system

Job Requirements:

- Excellent telephone and email communication skills

- Team player with proven track record to work well under pressure and constant deadlines

- Export LCL consolidation experience

- Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Professional attitude, and presentation

- Prior International or export experience required, with an emphasize on the Europe trade

- Knowledge of DOT and IMDG regulations preferred

- Can quickly adapt and learn new skills

- The ability to solve problems and seek alternative solutions

- A strong understanding of the English language is essential

- Ability to work a 40-hour week on a regular basis is essential as well as flexibility, if required
