Step 2

Fundraising and banking my sponsorship money

When you register you will be sent a pack with sponsorship forms to start your fundraising. Hold a fundraising event to help raise further sponsorship e.g. Car Boot Sale, Afternoon Tea Party, Karaoke Night. Alternatively offer your time to shop for a neighbour, wash cars or iron clothes for a donation!

Just a few ideas -of course you may have your own ideas too - and remember to have fun!

Bring all money raised along with you on the day of the Abseil or set up a Just Giving Page. There is a minimum sponsorship of £100 for this event.

Please keep a record of your fundraising so that it can be added to the Charity of the Year total.

Step 3

Once payment has been received BAC will forward the following information to you which you must complete and return ahead of the day:

-The Europa Lobby Policy

-Registration Document

-Abseil Medical Form

At this point you will also be allocated your registration times.

Step 4

1 – 2 weeks prior to your abseil BAC will contact me for the full list of abseilersso please do have all of your paperwork completed by then.

The cost per abseiler will be £30.00.

This cost includes the following:

Insurance

Belfast Activity Centre’s insurance covers Employer and Instructor Negligence, and 3rd party liability, for the members of the public and buildings- total cover is £5 million. Please note: This insurance does not cover personal injury due to failure to adhere to instructions given by BAC staff.
