2016 APPLICATION FORM
The 3078 Maker’s Market is held twice a year by Alphington Community Centre Inc. and the Garage Sale Trail every year in October.
Makers Markets and Garage Sale Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions of the market are -
- All goods must be hand made by the maker (Makers Market Only)
- In the event of more applications than stalls available, the organisers reserve the right to accept or refuse applications. Applications will be allocated in this order –
- Makers residing or having a studio in the 3078 postcode
- Participants of the Alphington Community Centre
- Makers residing in the Darebin and Yarra municipalities
- All other applications
- Stalls will not be secured until payment has been made in full.
- Stalls will be allocated as a 3x3m stall, please note there are no powered sites.
- Fees are non- refundable once application is accepted and Alphington Community Centre may accept or reject any application at its sole discretion.
- The fee includes public liability insurance for this market only.
- Stalls must be set up by 9.15am. Stalls not occupied by 9.30am may be re-allocated.
PARKING
We request that stallholders park in surrounding streets rather than Kelvin Road.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Stallholders are responsible for the safety of public within the allocated stall area and for the safety of products sold. Stallholders must ensure that all shelters, cabanas,umbrellas, tables, display boards etc. are adequately secured and comply with all safety regulations as requested by Alphington Community Centre. Keep walkways clear and report any hazards to Alphington Community Centre staff. Smoking by stall holders in the 3078 Maker’s Market market area is not permitted.
FOOD STALLS
All stallholders vending any foodstuffs/drinks (whether prepared on site or not) must comply with public health guidelines. Stallholders must be registered with council and supply proof of registration and event must be registered by stallholder with Streat Trader. Food stalls not complying to these guidelines will not be able to trade on the day.
CLOSING AND CLEANUP
Stallholders are required to remain open until 12.30pm and areas must be vacated by 1.00 pm. Please remove all rubbish and leave the area clean and tidy.

Applicants are invited to apply for one or both markets. Applications will be finalised 14 days prior to each market so all applications must be received no later than 14 days prior to the market days. Late applications will only be considered if all stalls have not been allocated.
