OFFICIAL UNIFORM/JACKET ORDERS

We are now ready to introduce our basic’s uniform range. We would love to see all dancers in our official uniform/jackets as they arrive. Whilst official uniform is not compulsory in 2017, all official uniform will of course be compulsory for dance classes as of 2018.

BASICS UNIFORM RANGE

We have attached examples of our basic’s range that will be ready to order from Gwen at Reception very soon. We are have received a sizing kit and costs will be finalised asap. Once the costs are confirmed, we will inform you and will then take orders. Payment in full is required upon order. This would make a great Christmas gift for your dancer and should you want it gift wrapped with personalised IPA gift wrap, please let Gwen know upon ordering ($2 surcharge applies). We hope you love it as much as we do!

JACKET ORDERS

You are still able to order Industrie jackets. Also through Gwen at Reception. Jacket costs are $73 for kids and $83 for adults – includes printing costs.

DANCE STOCKINGS

We are lucky to have a supply of dance stockings on site at IPA. Please see Gwen at Reception for your stocking needs for either competition purposes or class needs – available in various styles and sizes.

CONCERT INFO

CONCERT T.SHIRT

As we lead into the concert. We would like to bring the school together by producing an Industrie t.shirt that will encourage team morale, ensure a uniform look on concert day and in addition we are producing somewhat of a keepsake for our first year Industrie dancers – the originals!

We request that our end of year concert finale and school photo (to be taken on concert day) be done in the concert t.shirt, making it compulsory for all dancers that wish to perform in the finale, alternatively your dancer can choose to not perform in the finale should a t.shirt not be an option for you.

Gwen, at reception, will have sample sizes at reception and request you size, pay and order your T. asap to ensure quick delivery. Concert t.shirts are $25 and payable upon order.

CONCERT

A very detailed concert information booklet will be sent home outlining everything you need to know for concert day by the end of term. For now, we can tell you;

·  Concert day is 18th November 2017

·  Our concert will be held at Mount Nelson Theatre

·  Concert tickets will go on sale on Thursday 19th October

·  We will hold two shows this year – Matinee & Evening. However, quite different to the norm… our Junior (9 years & Under) dancers will feature in the Matinee concert only. And our Intermediate/Senior dancers (11 years +) will feature in the Evening concert only (with the exception of a few guest appearances).

END OF YEAR CONCERT AWARDS

We will continue to hold our awards presentation at the end of the year concert. As we all know, all dancers are of course worthy of an award, however it also essential to recognise those that have shown outstanding commitment, recognise achievements and acknowledge those that show positive attitudes and who go above and beyond what their teachers ask of them. As our dancers quite often have many teachers, our process this year will be by nomination by teachers. It will be a combined decision amongst the staff making it fair across the school.

OFFICE AREA

Please be mindful that upstairs is also our office space. Please do not open concertina doors at any time as we hold important private customer information – this is strictly out of bounds.

TWO STUDIOS

It is our hope is to merge all classes into our Bellerive studios. Ideally we would like to do this sooner rather than later, however this has been a very challenging process.


We will continue to work on an ideal situation for the benefit of our studios, however, in the meantime, if you know of anyone who is looking for a commercial property for leases Rosny Park, please send them our way.

SUMMER SCHOOL MOVED TO AUTUMN SCHOOL

As we start planning our 2018 dates. We have decided that we will not hold a Summer School during the Summer holidays for this year only, mainly due to the fact that our return date for 2018 will be end of January, not leaving much time in between our other holiday commitments/family time. We are excited however to introduce a term 1 holiday /Autumn/ Easter workshop opportunity – watch this space.

QUIZ NIGHT

Thank you to the extension team for providing us with a great first IPA quiz/trivia night. It seems everyone had a great time and congratulations to the winning team!

CHOCOLATE BOXES

Our extension teams are now selling chocolate boxes mover the coming weeks & ask our IPA family to assist with this!...

If you are able to sell a box (or 2!!!) of chocolates, could you please see Gwen at reception over the coming weeks & she will organise a box for you. There are 50 chocolates in a box & sell for a $1 each. Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS

Thank you to our IPA families who purchased an Entertainment Book to assist this fundraiser for our Extension Teams. Our teams are overwhelmed with your generosity & support.

This fundraiser has now finished with the profits being tallied at the moment. The fundraising committee will update us shortly in regards to the profits made from this.
