Developing knowledge about all aspects of the dairy industry, and in particular the impact of management decisions on the bottom line, are critical toward having a well managed and profitable farming operation. Join the industry's leaders for a learning journey that explores the dairy business from all angels. Gain management skills from some of the most successful dairy farmers in Ontario. Learn the impact of management decisions on the bottom line and how to run a more profitable dairy operation. Tour some of the top dairy farms in Ontario. Find out the key elements of a succession plan and network with other young dairy farmers.
Event Date: May 3 - 5, 2012
University of Guelph, Guelph, ON
Cost: $100 + HST = $113 (incl. accommodations, meals, tour travel and resource materials)
A maximum of 40 participants can attend. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.

ATTENTION VOLUNTEERS
Those existing volunteers whose Police Check will expire in 2012 will be receiving a reminder letter in the mail from 4-H Ontario. 4-H Ontario is looking after this process for experienced volunteers and leaders; anyone interested in becoming a first time member should go to the 4-H Ontario website and apply to be a volunteer to start their screening process. Don't forget that screening is time sensitive - as soon as you receive your forms back from your local police department, please send them directly to 4-H Ontario.
