What: / A unique experience awaits as you ramble through an environmentally responsible, operational sand and gravel quarry. The course follows quarry roads, out and back for 5K, and is best described as “off-road” (hard-packed gravel). Join us in this exhilarating run through the quarry and support our local Pet Friends organization.
Walkers (no runners) may bring your favorite four-legged friend (dogs and cats) to join you in the 5K Walk! Animals must be on a leash at all times. No retractable leashes! Leashes must be no longer than 6 feet. Proof of rabies vaccination required.
Stay for the Graniterock Open House event at the quarry!!

* Pets (dogs and cats) - FREE. All Pets must be well-mannered and on a leash at all times. No exceptions.
* After June 8, 2013 entry fees are $25-Individual, $50-Family

In consideration of the acceptance of my application to participate in the Pet Friends 5K Run/Walk to be held on the date identified in this registrationform (the “Run”), I freely give this RELEASE and make the following contractualrepresentations and agreements. I hereby RELEASE, hold harmless, indemnify,and agree not to sue Graniterock Company and their respective agents, officers, directors, employees,members, sponsors, promoters, affiliates and all volunteers helping with the Run(collectively called the “RELEASEES”) from all liability resulting from all injuries(including death) resulting from or in connection with my participation (or theparticipation of a minor on whose behalf I am signing this document) in the Run. This RELEASE applies even to injury or death caused by THE RELEASEES’ OWNNEGLIGENCE. I understand that running is an inherently dangerous sport andfully realize the dangers of participating, and FULLY ASSUME ALL RISKS associatedwith participating, including, by way of example and not limitation, the danger ofcollision with pedestrians, vehicles, other runners, and fixed or mobile objects; thedangers arising from rocks, obstacles, and other hazards on or near the runningsurface, particularly in an industrial environment such as the route chosen forthe Run; equipment failure and inadequate safety equipment or warnings; adverseweather conditions; insect or animal encounters; and the possibility for seriousphysical or mental trauma, injury or death associated with running. This RELEASEincludes all such risks and claims. I attest that I, and any participating minors onwhose behalf I am signing this document, are physically fit and have sufficientlytrained for the Run. I agree that the above representations and acknowledgmentsare contractually binding and not mere recitals. I make this RELEASE, and allrepresentations, agreements and acknowledgements contained herein for myself,my heirs, executors, administrator, legal representatives, successors in interest, andany participating minors for whom I am signing this document.I acknowledge this document must be signed by a legal guardian of any minorparticipating in the Run.
