Make 7th September 2010 Strike Historic and a grand success.
Once again Bank employees under the banner of All India Bank Employees Association are going to create history on 7th September 2010 by joining the Strike call given by National Convention of Trade Unions. This time the biggest ever Trade Union action is going to be demonstrated when INTUC-AITUC-CITU-HMS-AIUTUC-TUCC-LPF is participating in the Strike together. We have already informed the demands through various circulars and posters. As per our past traditions once again we call upon all our members to leave no stone unturned in making the strike a grand success and follow the instructions as under:-
1. No employee should proceed on leave. In case any employee who is already on long leave should give in writing to treat them on strike.
2. All the members including employees on probation will participate in the Strike.
3. Members of the watch and ward staff who are performing duties of Watchman or Armed guards shall be exempted on the day of Strike. However Watch and Ward Staff performing the duties of peons shall participate in the Strike.
4. All members should participate in the rallies being organized in co-ordinatation with the respective local federations.
5. In case of any rumor or misinformation Contact immediately to the Central Office of the federation or the nearest Office Bearers.
6. Report the observance of strike to the central office of the Federation
BANK LEVEL DEVELOPMENTS
Decisions of the Central Welfare Committee Meeting : - Recently meeting of the Central Welfare Committee was held under the Chairmanship of the Sh. Ashok Nayar Managing Director State Bank of Patiala. Along with the members of CMC, Representatives of ABOA and our Federation participated in the meeting. The following decisions were taken unanimously.
1. Two New Holiday Homes shall be opened at Shirdi (Maharastra) and Agra (U.P)
2. Holiday Homes at Jaipur and Delhi shall be shifted to new premises.
3. It was decided to to increase Scholarship for day Scholars.
4. To provide financial Assistance for medical needs to Pre 1986 retirees with the ceiling of Rs.2500/-
5. To Provide Annual Health Check up to all post 1986 retirees with a ceiling of Rs.500/- per annum on self declaration basis.
These New schemes will be implemented subject to the concurrence of the Central Office.
Bank Flag Enrollment:- AIBEA Bank Flag, a magazine containing developments of bank employee’s movement was largely subscribed in the previous years. Now subscription has since expired in case of majority of the members. Recently large number of members has also joined in the clerical staff. We therefore request all members of clerical staff to subscribe for the Bank Flag. The subscription is only Rs 80/- for three years which may be sent to the central office of the Federation through Demand Draft in favor of ‘AIBEA Bank Flag’ payable at Kolkata along with residential or office address.
Website of our Federation:- In the era of technology to keep pace with the development fast communication is the need of the hour. Therefore, it has been decided by the Federation to launch its own website. Though the website is under Construction but it is available on internet with the latest Circulars, 9th Bipartite Settlement and latest information.
