All First Year Synergy Students Begin in This Phase. Students Remain in Phase One For

Phase One—

All first year Synergy students begin in this phase. Students remain in phase one for at least fifty days but often for a year or longer.

●Mentoring and interview skills

●Exposure to what students need to know to complete applications, interview, etc.

●How to answer questions on applications

●Introduction to a Capstone Project tied to pathways

●Social/Emotional Support

Exit Criteria –Panel Defense, satisfactory completion of written assessment, attendance 80% or higher and no major discipline infractions during phase.

Phase Two—

Synergy students in this phase are ready to job shadow, attend site visits in exploration of their chosen pathway, and continue work on a capstone project.

Phase Three—

Synergy students in this advanced phase are ready work with minimal supervision, attend college classes, etc.
