Featured Bands:
Sarah Bareilles:
A Bay Area native, Sara’s new song “King Of Anything” comes from her just-released second album Kaleidoscope Heart. She received two Grammy nominations in 2009 for her number one single, “Love Song” and her first album Little Voice sold over one million copies worldwide. Sara will headline Now and Zen 2010.
Plain White T’s:
The band “Plain White T’s” was formed by high school friends in the late 90’s. In 2008, they received a Grammy nomination for their biggest hit to-date: "Hey There Delilah.” Their current single, “Rhythm Of Love” is the first song off their forthcoming album, Wonders Of The Younger due out sometime in October 2010.
Natasha Bedingfield:
Natasha Bedingfield has sold more than ten million singles and albums worldwide and is best known for her songs, “Pocketful of Sunshine,” “These Words,” and “Unwritten.” Natasha had the first #1 pop single by a British Female Solo artist in the U.S. in over 20 years and was Grammy nominated for “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.” Her new album Strip Me is due out November 9, 2010.
Five For Fighting:
“Five For Fighting” is the band name under which singer/songwriter John Ondrasik records and performs. His breakthrough came in 2001 when the Grammy-nominated song, "Superman," (already climbing the charts prior to 9/11) became a tribute to the heroes of the day. With Slice, his latest album, Ondrasik speaks his mind about current issues, experiences and sentiments, while setting those thoughts to piano, bass and drums. It is in stores now.
Ryan Star:
Ryan hails from Long Island, New York and was fourteen years old when he formed his first band. He is best known as a contestant on the second season of the CBS reality show Rock Star. Ryan didn’t win the competition but impressed producers enough to be allowed to record a five song EP in hopes of jump starting his music career. Star's first studio album since Rockstar: Supernova, entitled 11:59, is out now.
