Each proposal will be evaluated for its significance, research design (if appropriate), thoroughness, clarity, and appropriateness for the roundtable discussion. Factors that tend to disqualify proposals are failure to complete the proposal according to guidelines, the promotion of commercial materials or programs, or topics that are unrelated to reading or literacy.
Each individual who submits a proposal will be notified by the ALD Committee’s decision by June 2017. If additional individuals appear on the program proposal, it is the responsibility of the person submitting the proposal to inform these individuals of the final disposition of the proposal.
