Scholarships

For all scholarships please include the following: 7th semester transcript, copy of college or program acceptance letter, Student Aid Report (SAR) from your completed FAFSA (some will ASK for your FAFSA form, as well), a resume of activities and achievements from school and community, and reference letters where needed. It is recommended that applications be typed. If not, print clearly and use blue or black ink. Many applications are available online now. Be sure to check. Scholarship forms will not be accepted if they are late.

Contact the college, vocational or technical school you are considering attending and request a copy of their financial aid brochure and available scholarships associated with their school.

In order to apply for all Federal and State programs, Promise Scholarship and Student Loans a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be completed. The FAFSA information should be available in December and should be completed online ( bymid February for maximum aid consideration. The FAFSA can be signed electronically by both student and parent obtaining in advance a PIN number at Deadline February 28, 2013.
