Airsoft Private Event Days - Information Sheet

Who & where are we:

Opened in Late 2013 Humber Airsoft is North Lincolnshire, Humberside & East Riding of Yorkshires largest dedicated airsoft site. We are a Family run business with years of experience.

Based in the disused Leggotts Quarry in-between South Ferriby and Barton-Upon-Humber our 35 acre site can cater for large numbers of visitors. With excellent easy access from the M180, A15 and the Humber Bridge it is an ideal location for visitors from Hull, Grimsby, Immingham, Scunthorpe and further afield.

What is Airsoft?

Airsoft is an up and coming sport originally from China it is a sport in which participants eliminate opponents by hitting each other with spherical non-metallic pellets launched via replica firearms called Airsoft guns or bb guns. Similar to paintball in many ways but without the mess of paint, airsoft is a more tactical and in depth sport. Airsoft is now being used by many Military and Police forces around the world for training purposes.

Gameplay varies in style and composition but often ranges from short-term skirmishes, longer organized scenarios, Close Quarter Battle military simulations (MilSim). Combat situations on the battlefield may involve the use of military tactics to achieve objectives set in each game. Participants may attempt to emulate the tactical equipment and accessories used by modern military and police organizations.

Airsoft is ideal for getting friends, team members, work colleagues or staff to work together to achieve their objectives, as well as raising morale and above all having fun.

What happens while you are here?

1st - Sign in, sign an insurance waiver & pay.

2nd - Weapons brief, this is where we show you how to use the weapons.

3rd - You will be given your weapon and equipment including: magazines, ammo and face protection.

4th - Next will be a general site safety brief/induction.

Then you are ready to go.

You will be given a game brief for the games we will play which tells you your objectives and what else you need to do to complete them. Then it is up to you as a team to work out how best to do it. You may be split into two teams and battle it out between yourselves to see who the winner is or you may be put against our staff and see if you can take them on.

Our Facilities:

We have ample secure on-site parking with easy access to and from the main road. We have an office with on-site shop selling everything from safety glasses and spare ammunition to chocolate and drinks. Also in the office block is a booking in desk where you will sign in and fill in all the relevant paperwork, this is also where you will receive your hire weapon. There are toilet facilities available andwe also have a cabinwith an indoor sitting/eating area, somewhere to keep your kit too.

Food & Drink:

We can offer hot sandwiches on the day priced from £2 each. Please let us know if you wish for us to provide this service before the event. We have a well-stocked shop selling everything from cans of pop, to energy drinks and water. Chocolate and crisps are also available to purchase. We also have available Tea and Coffee. Or you may wish to bring in your own food it is up to you.

Prices/Costings:

We offer five tiers of Hire Equipment Package:

Economy £30pp – Hire Weapon, 2x Magazines, Sling.

Standard £35pp – Hire Weapon, 2x Magazines, Sling, Chest Rig, Clothing, 1000 ammo.

Silver £45pp - Hire Weapon, 2x Magazines, Sling, Chest Rig, Clothing, 5000 ammo. Hot Sandwich.

Gold £55pp - Hire Weapon, 2x Magazines, Sling, Chest Rig, Clothing, Unlimited ammo. Hot Sandwich.

Platinum £65pp - Hire Weapon, 2x Magazines, Sling, Chest Rig, Clothing, Hot Sandwich, Unlimited Drinks, Snacks & ammunition.

Persons with their own equipment - £20.

We do ask for a minimum of10 people to an event, if you have smaller numbers you may wish book into one of our Public Sunday events.

Our available days are Wednesday, Friday & Saturday. All through the year. Our Events run from 10am – 4pm including a lunch break.We can be flexible with times and days to suit all needs.

We do require a £20 non-refundable deposit per person prior to the event to secure the equipment and the day for your use. This can be paid via PayPal through our website.

We also have to ask for a set of card details to be held for the duration of the event, incase of any breakages or missing equipment.

We do ask that you provide boots or sturdy footwear due to the nature of the site, also clothing you don’t mind getting dirty, and we do have camouflage clothing available for hire also a limited selection of boots.

Any damages to the weapons and equipment are chargeable to the hirer.
