Fundraising Photo Calendar Contest
A major fundraiser for the Airedale Terrier Club of Canada for 2007 is a 12-month calendar. The theme of the calendar will be a ‘Day in the Life of a ‘Dale’. We welcome allAiredale lovers to contribute to this calendar.
The winning photos will be used in the calendar, which will be on sale starting at the ATCC National Specialty inearly August 2007. The calendars will be available from members of the ATCC Executive as well as through the ATCC website at
The cost of the calendar will be $15 each (Canadian) plus postage.
The selection committee will be made up of Pam Sheane (ATCC Western Director), Elaine Zemaitis (ATCC Past President) andAndrea Easton (Member at Large).
Theme
The theme is: “A Day in the Life of a ‘Dale”. It can be a posed or candid shot of anything your Airedale might be captured doing.
Entry Fee
Entry fee is $15.00 per photo. You may enter as many as you wish.
Important dates
Contest starts May 15 and ends midnightJuly 6, 2007. Winners will be notified as soon as possible after that date.
Judging
The photos will be judged based on originality, creativity, composition, print quality, and impact.
Qualifications
This contest is for Amateurs Only. No professional photos or photographers please. We would prefer photos being forwarded by email, at least 300 dpi resolution and as large a file as the camera will allow. If sending a physical photo, it must be at least a 5x7 but no larger than an 8x10. If sending a CD, it must also be saved as a 300 dpi resolution jpeg file and as large as the camera will allow.

Photo Contest Entry Form
To enter the contest, enclose this form with each photo and a check made out to Airedale Terrier Club of Canada (ATCC) for $15/photo. If you would like your photos back you must put mailing information on the back of the photo. If sending a physical photo, it must be at least a 5x7 but no larger than an 8x10. If sending CD it must be saved as a 300 dpi resolution jpeg file and as large as the camera will allow.
We would prefer photos being forwarded by email, at least 300 dpi resolution and as large a file as the camera will allow. Please complete the Entry Form and submit it with your photo (s). Your check must be received before the deadline of July 6 in order for your photo(s) to be eligible for the contest.
