4156 EQUILON ENTERPRISES LLC DBA SHELL OIL PRODUCTS US: Requests for Regular 1-year Variance (filed May 24, 2007) from District Rules 61.1b(2), 61.1c(2)(i) and 10(b), Rule 21 as applied to Condition 12 of Permits 4074 and 4075 in order to maintain the tanks between May 1 and October 31 involving gasoline storage tanks Nos. 30634 and 30635 located at the Shell Distribution Terminal, 9966 San Diego Mission Road, San Diego, CA 92108.

4158 MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CAMP PENDLETON: Requests for a 90-Day Variance (filed June 6, 2007) from District Rule 21, Conditions 1 and 5, as it applies to Permit Nos. 860932, 860933 and 977790, to exceed the permitted fuel sulfur concentration involving test cells for 3 aircraft jet engines: a T-58-GE-16 gas turbine, a T-400 gas turbine and a T-700 gas turbine at a facility located at USMC Base Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, 92055.
ACTION: GRANTED WITH CONDITIONS
4159 AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT, COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO: Requests Order for Abatement (filed June 11, 2007) against C.H.D.S. INC. dba CURTIS HOLE DRILLING CO. involving portable diesel engines used in a hole drilling, foundation drilling and shoring, and rock drilling operation at various locations throughout San Diego County. The requested Order for Abatement is not intended to act as a variance. The District in this Petition seeks an Order for Abatement requesting Respondents to cease violating District Rules. Order of Abatement requested until owner/operator of business obtains from District permission to operate portable diesel engines in accordance with District Rule 10(b).

The requested Order for Abatement is not intended to act as a variance. The District in this Petition seeks an Order for Abatement requesting Respondents to cease violating District Rules. Order of Abatement requested until owner/operator of business obtains from District permission to operate a gasoline dispensing facility in accordance with District Rule 10(b) and (j).

STAITE ENGINEERING, INC. involving one 300 horsepower portable diesel engine, between 100 to 749 horsepower range, operating without authorization at various locations in San Diego County. Regular variance from District Rule(s) 10(b), 12.1, and State ATCM 17 CCR 93116.3 (b)(2) requested until a compliant engine can be obtained.
ACTION: GRANTED WITH CONDITIONS
4162 STEVE’S WOOD STUDIO: Requests for a 90-Day Variance (filed June 14, 2007) from District Rule 10(b) and Rule 21(Condition 9 of Permit application No. 977769) to operate a furniture cabinet finishing operation using a toxic air contaminant that has not been approved for use in this wood coating operation located at 3064 National Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113.
ACTION: GRANTED WITH CONDITIONS
4164 CLANCY CONTRACTING SERVICES.: Requests for Interim Portion of an Interim and Regular Variance (filed June 21, 2007) from District Rule 10(b), Rule 24 and Rule 1200, involving a Blastrac portable beadblast unit for asbestos removal, at an asbestos removal demolition services operation located at Harborside Elementary School, 681 Naples Street, Chula Vista, CA 91911.
