We are pleased to inform you about the 2nd Annual SensAge Conference

Ageing People with Sensory Disabilities – Quality of Services and Their Impact

This will take place in Istanbul, on the 2 July 2013, within the framework of the 8th ICEVI-European Conference on Education and Rehabilitation of people with visually impairment.

The Conference will focus on the sharing of knowledge, practice and experiences and on the identification of issues, within the remit of SensAge being the Reference Point in Europe for Ageing People with Sensory Disabilities.

We thank the organising and host committees of ICEVI-E for their cooperation and partnership in enabling this Conference of SensAge to be held within the common framework of both Networks.

All participants are welcome to take part in both the ICEVI-E and SensAge Conferences, but separate registration is required for each Conference.

Conference Venue – Kaya Ramada Plaza, Buyukcekmece, Istanbul

Location: Located next to the Tuyap Exhibition Center, Kaya Ramada Plaza is one of Turkey’s most important convention hotels, combining the latest technology with 5 star hotel comfort. The hotel is only 20 minutes away from the İstanbul Ataturk International Airport.

REGISTRATION

The Registration Form will soon be sent to you.

The Registration Fee for SensAge Participants for two days is €250 per person and includes:

  • Conference room on July 2
  • Meeting room on July 3
  • Conference badge
  • Conference bag
  • Certificate of Attendance
  • The proceedings on USB flash stick
  • Lunches & coffee-breaks for 2 July and 3 July

Participants will be asked to pay this fee to MFAM, as the SensAge Managing Partner, NOT to the Conference Organisers.

Important Information

The ICEVI Half Day Tour on the 3 July and their Gala Dinner on the 4 July are NOT included in the Registration Fee for SensAge Participants.

Specially for SensAge Participants: A Project Dinner, not included in the €250 fee, will be organised on 2 July.

A One Day trip to Bolu will be organised on 4 July for participants interested in visiting our Turkish Partners. The bus will pick us up in Istanbul, take us to Bolu and the sightseeing areas there, and then take us all back to Istanbul.

The total bus price for Bolu trip:

  • 27-seat bus: 1800 TL (1800 Turkish Lira = 763.33 Euro)
  • 17-seat bus: 1600 TL (1600 Turkish Lira = 678.51 Euro)

1 Turkish Lira = 0.4241 Euro (as at March 2013)

The price is shown in Turkish Lira and in Euro and will be charged regardless of the number of participants - so the total price will be divided among the participants going on the trip.

We will ask for your plans for the trip when you return your Registration Form.
