- The successful applicant will undergo a DBS check at enhanced level. Employment will not be allowed to commence until the return of these DBS checks.
- References will be taken up after the interview and acceptance of the offer from the successful candidate. These will be two references one must be the current or most recent employer. No reference can be from a family member.
- The successful candidate may be required to undergo a pre employment medical check by our occupational health provider and all offers would be subject to clearance as able to carry out the contractual requirements of the role.
- Applications should be submitted on the application form provided. Additional pages may be attached if insufficient space is provided for education history, employment history or “General Comments”. The “General Comments” section should be used to address the reasons why you consider you are suited to this opportunity, and to enable you to outline sufficient evidence which shows you have the necessary qualification and/or experience to meet the job specification and the person specification. Please be as concise and relevant as possible. At interview, you may be asked to expand on evidence which you provided on your application form.

Interviews will take place at Bradbury House, Beaumont Street West, Darlington, DL1 5SX. A pay and display car park is available nearby and Bradbury House is approximately 10 minutes walk from Darlington main-line station, and five minutes walk from Darlington Market Square. Short-listed applicants will be notified of an interview time by e-mail or telephone and confirmed in writing wherever possible.
