AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS NEWSLETTER
May – July 2017

GFJS is delighted to present our Summer term 2017 clubs newsletter.
Please read all the information enclosed about the clubs we will be running before you sign your child up for a place.
JOINING/RENEWING A CLUB PLACE – please complete the application form at the back of the newsletter for your child to be considered for a place in the club they would like to attend. All clubs have limited places, we will text parents before the start date of the club to confirm.
Your child must be committed to the club(s) they apply for. They must attend every session unless they are unwell or there is a reasonable excuse for them to be absent. Please always let us know if they will not be at a session.
Correct Kit. Your child needs the correct clothing for the club they are attending. If it is an outdoor club then make sure they have extra layers to wear in cold weather, likewise in warmer weather they will need a hat/suncream etc. All children attending a club should have a drink with them and snack if necessary.
FOOTBALL REQUIRES SHIN PADS.
All outdoor clubs are weather permitting. If we need to cancel a session due to bad weather, or for any other reason, we will send a text as soon is reasonably possible for us to do so.
PAYING FOR CLUBS: All club payments are done through the ParentPay website. Club payments should be paid in full for the term as soon as you are able. If you have any concerns or problems with paying for a club please come in to the office to discuss this in the first instance.
COLLECT OR WALK HOME? Please state clearly on the club permission slip whether your child is allowed to walk home/walk to a car, or if they will be collected. Children should be collected promptly at the end of a club.

WE ARE VERY KEEN FOR MORE BOYS TO SIGN UP FOR GYM and/or STREET DANCE THIS TERM
Our aim as always, is to offer every child at GFJS the opportunity to participate in at least one of our clubs throughout the school year. Thank you all for your support and enthusiasm for our extra-curricular activities.

*There will be 2 groups for Minecraft Club, Group A will have 5 sessions from 9th May to 13th June THEN Group B from 20th June to 18th July
