The Joyous Brush style of painting incorporates the time-honored classic oriental watercolor (also known as Chinese Brush Painting) techniques, using bamboo brushes, ink, or watercolor painting on rice paper. The objectives of the Joyous Brush style painting include:

> Brush strokes techniques

> Color loading techniques

> Simplicity: filtering out the unnecessary clutters

> Resemblance: capturing the essence and characteristics of the objects or themes

> Artistic Expressions: images rendered with personal deliberate brush strokes

Joyous Brush style of painting helps the students acquire

> a clear mental priority and a lifestyle of critical observation.

> deliberate and confident strokes and discovery of personal taste.

> Compositional consideration and Resolution

This class is open to both new students and the returning students. We will use different flowers to drill stroke techniques. The returning students will review and refine their brush strokes and compose pictures incorporating subjects they have already learned. The new students will start from the basics of loading and holding their brushes. The class tuition is $120 for 12 lessons class $30 class supplies, this will include a 24 clear view Art Portfolio for each student to keep their paintings in. Optional $15 will allow the students to take home the brushes they use in class (2 small, 2 large), color mixing plate, brush rest, a set of primary colors & white and 10 sheets of rice paper.

She gives workshops to Georgia schools through Woodruff Arts Young Audiences.

She is the winner of 2010 Cobb County Ovation Award in visual art.

She taught at The Callaway Garden, The Art Place, The Art Station, You've Got to Have Art, Out of the Box studio, Timothy ministries. And various schools and art centers.
