Grading –

Frame1

After logging in, select Grading under the Faculty Information heading on the Faculty & Staff Menu.

Frame 2

At the Grading screen, use either the Term drop-down selection or enter a Start and End Date to access your classes for grading. You cannot enter both.

Frame 3

To select a Term, click the drop down arrow to make a menu selection. If you choose to enter a date, you must enter both a start date and end date.

Frame 4

The classes that meet your selection criteria will be displayed.

Frame 5

Select either Final or Early Alert from the drop- down menu depending on what grades you are entering. Select the class by clicking the radio button under the Choose One selection next to the classes, then click Submit. You can only grade one class at a time.

Frame 6

If you select Early Alert, the Early Alert Grading screen is displayed. Only enter a grade for the specific student(s) that meet the Early Alert criteria. Then click submit. These grades will be immediately available for the students to view in Owl Link. Early Alert grades are not verified.

Frame 7

When you select Final Grading from the Grading screen, the final grading screen is displayed.

Frame 8

Enter the grades for the students in the final grade column. Be prepared to enter all grades for a roster. Incomplete grade rosters should not be submitted. If you enter "I" for Incomplete, you must add a date which should be no later than the end of the next semester.
A letter grade must be assigned by the date you select or the grade will automatically convert to an ‘F’.

Frame 9

Click Submit. The students will not be able to see their grades until they are verified each morning of the grading period by the Admissions Office. Any changes to submitted grades must be done in the Admissions and Records Office by form. Frame 10
You will be returned to the Faculty & Staff menu when you submit your grades. You must select Grading again to enter grades for another class.
