SOCIAL: Social Chair Marsha Barnholtz announced a number of upcoming social events: Segue Tour on 6/29 at Eden Park. This is limited to 12 people. Arnold's Brothel's, Bootleggers and Booze Touris scheduled for July 29th. Check the club’s MeetUp.com page for details on these and all other events / outings.

GOLF: Golf Chair Tom Haley announced a very ambitious golf season. Heatherwoode cancelled our date for the I-74 challenge due to a larger outing than ours. So the challenge will be held at Yankee Trace and Heatherwoode will now be on Sunday. The annual Hickory Woods outing has been scheduled for May 10th. Payment is due by 5/2. Please plan on staying at the course to watch people come in and then all will go to dinner. Walden Pond is scheduled for 5/24 with Carole and Janet hosting dinner afterwards. Fairfield is set for Memorial Day, 5/26. As always, watch the MeetUp site for more information on golf outings as it becomes available.

PROGRAM:Kelly Fegley was our guest speaker. He discussed putters and grips. Putters are either face or toe balanced. You can check your putter by balancing it and seeing how the face lays. If it is flat, you have a flat faced putter. If the toe hangs down somewhat, you have a toe faced putter. If you consistently miss putts to the right, you may need to switch to a toe faced putter.

The size of your grip is also important. To determine if you have the proper size, grip your club normally. Then remove your right hand. The fingers on your left hand should just touch the palm. If they don’t meet, your grip is too large. If they overlap, then your grip is too small.
