AFFIDAVIT AND APPLICATION FOR AN INSPECTION WARRANT
IN THE MAGISTRATE COURT OF HENRY COUNTY
STATE OF GEORGIA
The Undersigned Vince Farah, Department Coordinator of Henry County Animal Care and Control says: I am an Animal Control Officer of the State of Georgia or its political subdivision charged with the duty of enforcing the Henry County Animal Control Ordinances and I have reason to believe that in Henry County, Georgia on the premises, or property described as follows: 232 Bristol Drive, Hampton, Henry County, Georgia.
Directions to the residenceis as follows: See Attachment #1.
There is now located: Cats inside the residence
The facts tending to establish probable cause that endangered animals exist at the location is as follows: On 03/23/11, Henry County Animal Control received a complaint from Scott English, that animals had been abandoned at 232 Bristol Drive, in Hampton. The complainant advised that the residence is a rental property and the renters had been evicted, leaving behind at least one (1) locked inside the residence. Animal Control Officer Amy Painter responded to the location and posted a Notice of Abandonment on the main entrance to the residence advising the owners to contact Animal Control within 36 hours of the notice or the animals would be removed. Maintenance worker at the trailer park advised Officer Painter that there was a cat in the property. Management of the trailer park would not open the property for Officers to investigate.
As of 3/31/11, no one has contacted the shelter regarding the cat.
Based on the herein listed facts, the affiant believes that endangered animalsare present at the address. The affiant requests that aninspection warrant be issued for the herein described premises, to include the interior of the residence for animals that are possibly being mistreated which is in violation of Georgia Law O.C.G.A. 16-12-4, Henry County Ordinance, or other applicable laws.

Affidavit having been made before me by Vince Farah of Henry County Animal Control, an officer charged with enforcing Henry County Ordinances, he has reason to believe, that in Henry County, Georgia, on the following described person (s) or property:232 Bristol Drive, Hampton, Henry County, Georgia.
There is now located:Anendangered animal locked in the residence.
Based on the affidavit given under oath or affirmation and all other evidence given to me under oath or affirmation, I am satisfied that there is probable cause to believe that a crime is being or has been committed and the property described above is presently located on the person(s), premises, or property described above.
You are hereby commanded to enter, search, and seize within ten(10) days of this date, the person or premises or property described above. A copy of this warrant is to be left with the person searched, or if no person is available, on the premises or vehicle searched, and a written return, including an inventory of any things seized shall be made before me or a Court of competent jurisdiction without unnecessary delay after the execution of this Search Warrant.
