Some applicants will be invited to interview in-person with the Action Team leadership. Interview travel and costs will be arranged and covered by the CSEC Action Team.

Applicants will be notified of final decisions by early May.

Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Action Team

The Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Action Team (Action Team) is a state work group dedicated to researching promising prevention and intervention practices, collaborating with child-serving agencies, providing guidance to counties and community partners, and improving practices for youth in the state.

Advisory Board

The Action Team is excited to launch its new Advisory Board (“Board”) in May 2016. The Board will be made up of 10 CSEC survivors. It will provide input to the Action Team,governmental agencies, community-based organizations and other stakeholders regarding how to improve state and local policy for CSEC and at-risk youth. Members will advise the Action Team on a variety of topics including, but not limited to, policies to identify and serve CSEC, prevention and intervention strategies, placement services and supports, and training curriculum.

Members will:

  • Meet quarterly beginning in late May 2016
  • Provide up to 10 hours of additional consulting time
  • Commit to a two-year term
  • Receive stipends for their participation
  • Be reimbursed for reasonable pre-approved travel-related expenses
  • Receive professional development opportunities organized through the Action Team
  • Mentor future board members
