ADVERTISING CONTRACT

This page provides the terms of sale for a one-time purchase of a listing in the People on the Move section of the digital & print edition of the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Your Submission.

You shall provide the Los Angeles Business Journal with the following information:

(a) a digital image with the following dimensions and size: 300 Dpi with 5 inches wide (the “Digital Image”)

(b) a brief description to accompany the Digital Image of no more than [250-1500 pending on the package purchased] characters in length (“Advertising Copy”).

Collectively, the Digital Image and Advertising Copy will be referred to as a “Submission”.

Representations and Warranties.

You represent and warrant that (1) your Submission is and will be true, accurate, and complete, to the best of your knowledge, ability, and belief; (2) you have the full legal right to so use the Submission; (3) the Submission is not confidential or proprietary to any third party; and (4) you are not using the Submission in violation of any law or contractual restriction.

License to Publish.

You grant the Los Angeles Business Journal the unrestricted right and license to use, re-use, publish, republish, and/or otherwise distribute the Submission, whether in print or electronic form without payment or any other consideration.

The Los Angeles Business Journal reserves the right to edit, revise or reject any Submission provided by you. You hereby relinquish any right that you may have to examine or approve the completed product or products or the advertising copy or printed or electronic matter that may be used in conjunction therewith or the use to which it may be applied.

Indemnification.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Los Angeles Business Journal, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your Submission; your breach of these terms or the Terms of Service; or claims or actions for libel, violation of any right of privacy, plagiarism, or copyright infringement.

Pricing.

You agree to pay the price that is stated at the time of your order, as well as any applicable taxes. Applicable taxes may vary. All prices are in United States Dollars, unless otherwise stated. The Los Angeles Business Journal reserves the right to change prices and fees at any time. Your Submission will run in the People on the Move section for the time period stated at the time of your order.

If a stated price is determined by us in our sole discretion to be in error, we are not under any obligation to offer you the product at that price. Your purchase cannot be canceled or refunded.

Payment.

We will charge or debit your payment method at the time of your purchase.
