ADVERTISEMENT FOR SEALED BIDS

Sealed Bids will be received by Stanton Township, Goodhue County, Minnesota, at the Township Hall, 31186 40th Avenue Way, Cannon Falls, MN 55009 until 7:30p.m. CST, Tuesday, February 21st, 2017, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following:

Stanton Township Public Works Facility

In general, Work consists of construction of a new pre-engineered post frame construction public works building and some adjacent site improvements. The building site is defined as pre-excavated; materials and labor necessary to complete the excavation process will be requested as a separate contract, not included in the following line items under the base bid project. The bid form will be set up for the inclusion of the following line items under the base bid project:

  1. Materials and labor necessary to lead this project as the general contractor and/or construction manager based on the scope of work defined in the construction documents and in the project manual.
  2. Materials and labor necessary to complete the post frame construction building shell including doors, windows, louvers, insulation, interior framing and finishes (floors, walls and ceilings) for the restroom and mechanical room, interior ceiling and wall liner panels as indicated on the drawings and in the project manual.
  3. Materials and labor necessary to provide the interior concrete floor slab and exterior structural concrete stoops at the personnel doors and concrete aprons at the overhead doors as indicated on the drawings and in the project manual.
  4. Materials and labor necessary to provide the mechanical plumbing systems and fixtures as indicated on the drawings and in the project manual.
  5. Materials and labor necessary to provide the mechanical heating systems as indicated on the drawings and in the project manual.
  6. Materials and labor necessary to provide the electrical power, lighting and electrical systems as indicated on the drawings and in the project manual.

Complete paper bidding documents will be available for pick-up at the Stanton Township Hall. There will be a refundable fee of $50.00 for each set of bidding documents. The fee will be returned if the bidding documents are returned in a re-usable conditional. Paper Bidding Documents may also be viewed at the Stanton Township Hall, 31186 40th Avenue Way, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
