ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received by the Public Service Commission of Yazoo City, Mississippi, until 4:00 P.M. local time, Tuesday, August 01, 2017, at the offices of Public Service Commission located at 211 Mound Street (or may be mailed to Post Office Box 660, Yazoo City, MS 39194, Attn: Mr. Jimmy Wever), at which time and place all proposals will be opened and read aloud.
Request for bids for the installation and put into service lighting on the Willie Morris Parkway in Yazoo City, MS, known as Project No. PSC-E-6439.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds and other contract documents may be examined at the following:
1. Public Service Commission of Yazoo City, 211 Mound Street, Yazoo City, Mississippi.
2. Williams, Clark & Morrison, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 213 South Main Street, Yazoo City, Mississippi.
Copies may be obtained at the office of Williams, Clark & Morrison, Inc., located at 213 South Main Street, Yazoo City, Mississippi, upon payment of $75.00 for each set, which will not be refunded.
The Public Service Commission of Yazoo City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities therein and to determine which is the best bid. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of total bid, made payable to the Public Service Commission of Yazoo City must accompany each proposal.
A performance bond and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract will be required.
