About the role
[Key generic duties are listed below – please add any school specific duties or responsibilities attached to the role – max. 150 words]You will be responsible for developing, designing and deliveringteaching and student centred learning underpinned by academic scholarship and professional practice, within your assigned areas of responsibility.
You will also be required to conduct individual and collaborative research projects, contributing to the research profile within your School, leading to the production of high quality research outputs/outcomes
You will contribute to the University’s objective of growing our academic reputation for research-informed student learning.
You must be ambitious and enthusiastic about cross-disciplinary working andbe committed to working collaborativelyacross the University. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, supporting others.
You will have excellent communication skills and effective interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, engage and inspire others.
About you
In addition to the role profile the following criteria are essential:- A doctoral level qualification in the relevant discipline
- Qualification in relevant discipline at least to postgraduate level.
- Professional qualifications relevant to discipline.[RA1]
- Evidence of a professional academic andresearch profilealongside a commitment to sustained continuous professional/academic development.
- Sufficient breadth and depth of experience in specialism to develop high quality teaching/learning and research programmes and have experience of research led teaching and/or training.
- Demonstrable evidence of a teaching specialisation.
