ADMINISTRATIVE SYSTEM DEFAULTS
NOTE: Upon direction from the CSTS Executive Committee necessary defaults are preassigned by STI Technologies with a value. Each agency may decide to change values according to their best business practices.
Use the HELP Function within CSTS for all Admin System Default Definitions

These Defaults are necessary to run CSTS upon setup. Individual counties may need to change the default per best practices.
COMS Data Exchange Default Case Type
Purpose: This is a default requirement for COMS
Options: Value must be set to “Supervised Releases/Parole”
Considerations: There are no other options for this default
CSTS Monitor Agency Name
Purpose: See Help
Options:Text and Number field
Considerations: It is a county’s decision as to which one meets their best business practices. Generally, this will be the County’s own ORI number. Information in this field will be determined by the County’s IT Department, STI, and County CSTS Administrator upon initial setup.
CSTS Monitor Agency Password
Purpose: See Help
Options:Text and Number field
Considerations: It is a county’s decision as to which one meets their best business practices. Generally, information in this field will be determined by the County’s IT Department practices along with the County’s CSTS Administrator upon initial setup.
CSTS Web Service URL
Purpose: This is a predetermined URL web address
Options:Text and Number field
Considerations:Information in this field will be determined by the County’s IT Department and/or STI upon initial setup.
CSTS Production Environment
Purpose: Necessary during setup
Options: Value must be set to “Yes”
Considerations: There are no other options for this default
Default Chrono Type for Auto Chronos
Purpose: See Help
Options:Select from the Dropdown Menu
Considerations: It is a county’s decision as to which one meets their best business practices.
File Export Directory
Purpose: This is the directory containing individual user’s documents upon export
Options: Valid File path
Considerations: CSTS Administrators may choose to work with IT for best practices
ICOTS Maximum File Size (KB)
Purpose: File size requirements for transferring Interstate cases and documents
Options: File size may be changed per county’s IT practices
Considerations: CSTS Administrator may choose to work with IT for proper setup
Intrastate Default Agent
Purpose: See Help
Options: Any active agent set up in CSTS
Intrastate Default Chrono Type
Purpose: See Help

MCCC Data Exchange URL
Purpose: A value must be entered for MCCC Exchange Server
