Adjustable bending fork
A traditional bending fork looks like this:

One problem with these forks is that you need several sizes of forks to accommodate different sizes of stock and different bending requirements. The two-piece adjustable bending fork shown below is not a new idea, but it is a mighty useful one.
Simply weld a 2" piece of 3/8" or 1/2" rod near the bent edge and a bit off-center, on each of two 6" long pieces of angle iron. Both parts of the fork are the same.
Clamp them in a vise at whatever separation you need for the task at hand.
