Herzogenaurach/Germany, January 2013: adidas launches adidas by Stella McCartney barricade, a new collection of tennis apparel offering a fusion of adidas high-end technologies and Stella’s unique style for the performance-focused athlete. Designed with the competitive player in mind, the range will be worn by tennis players Caroline Wozniacki, Andrea Petkovic, Laura Robson and Maria Kirilenkoduring spring/summer 2013 Grand Slams, showcasing its forward thinking design,standout aesthetic and performance functionality.
Comprised of structured dresses and separates, the adidas by Stella McCartney barricaderangecomes in a palette of yellow, blue and white, with accents of silver and grey.Inspired by theready-to-wear collection, the range plays on the designer’s use of feminine lines that flatter and enhance the female form on court.

The Australian Open and French Open will see Caroline and the other playerstaking advantage of the benefits of the form and function of the range;on court looks take in body con structure, cut away seams and minimalist detailing, offering sporting practicality alongside the streamlined aesthetic synonymous with adidas by Stella McCartney designs. Highlights of theadidas by Stella McCartney barricaderange include a Tank and Skirt combination in White and Run Yellow for the AUS Open,and White and Legend Blue for French Open, with feminine colour blocking and sharp pleats.Caroline will play in an all-in-one Dress in RunYellow/White at the AUS Open and a feminine Fresh Blue/White Dress with lingerie inspired straps at the French Open, bothincorporating sheer meshand layeringin designs exclusive to her over the course of the tournaments. Each style in the collectionuses ClimaLITE® technology in specially placed mesh zones for maximum ventilation on court, ensuring their body temperature is at optimum level even during the most intense rally.
