- Broad family Support. The family support work provided covers a wide range of work; drop-in, individual support, preparation for formal counselling and referral to same; brief solution support; mediation; support and referral to medical and psychological services for children and adults, extended family.

- NYP supports young people where there are addiction issues with the parents / guardians.

Conditions for acceptance/Criteria if any: Family support is offered to the families of all the young people referred to the NYP. Families can be accepted on a self referral basis as well as through referral from GP, other agencies or from Social Work. Places are offered based on need and availability. A waiting list system is in operation.
Drop in service or Scheduled intake: Scheduled intakes usually twice per year (September and January). Referrals are accepted at any time, may have an initial assessment, and put on the waiting list if deemed appropriate.

We provided over 90 support groups, which included parents and our in house support service which operates within Crosscare homeless and youth services such as Haven House, Ameins St and Echlin House on the SCR.

CTC works with clients who have any problematic drug use (licit or illicit) poly drug use, opiate users, benzodiazepine users, Cocaine/crack users, Cannabis users, problematic/dependent alcohol users, problematic gaming/gamblers etc..

Groups/Key-working – regular engagement in services, willing to participate. Our aftercare group does require people to be drug free or stable in their recovery.

Sassy provides one to one counselling, family sessions and psychiatric assessment to young people aged 12 years to 18 years who have become chronically addicted.
