ACTR Olympiada of Spoken Russian

Student Registration Form

Fill in the information requested on page 1 to register your students in the ACTR Olympiada of Spoken Russian for your state or region at least two weeks before the event. Save your completed file with the name of your school and send it by email to the Chair of your state or regional competition.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Schools pay $6.00 per student. Teachers must be current members of ACTR for their students to be eligible. New memberships can be registered at http://www.actr.org/membership.html. Those who are uncertain about their current member status, can verify membership year by logging in at https://membership.actr.org/v/member-step-1/ and checking the membership list. Teachers may pay their annual dues at any time before enrolling students.

* Please use these codes for levels:

Regular Beginner – 1R, Intermediate – 2R, Advanced – 3R, 4R, or 5R

Heritage Beginner1 – Intermediate – 2H, Advanced – 3H, 4H, or 5H,

Native Speaker2 – NS (Levels 4-5)

1Heritage students should be registered and must compete at one level above the class in which they are studying Russian, so there can be no 1H.

2The Native Speaker category is for students from homes where Russian is the principal spoken language and for students from bilingual homes. Native Speakers are to be judged using the Level IV-V materials and criteria.

PLEASE COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION BY COMPUTER IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS APPEAR ON THE PREVIOUS PAGE. HANDWRITTEN OR HANDPRINTED REGISTRATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
