ACTICITY WRITE UP – FACE PAINTING (Spider Man Mask)

Equipment/supplies / Paint brush, table or area to work, good lighting, mirror, water and wipes to clean surface and hands, bottles of paint or color pallets (red, black, and white)

Make sure paint does not get in eyes or mouth
Make sure person painting, or being painted on does not have any known allergies to ingredients in paint.

Sequence/Directions

1.Place color pallet, brush, and paper on flat surface area

2.Have pictures of drawings to select from on electric device or printed out. For example I had a picture of spider man mask from my cellphone.

3.Have the person sit in front of you so that it is easier to apply paint.

4. The picture chosen was spider man. Dip middle finger in white paint to first outline the white around the eyes. Once outlined, fill in space with white paint going towards eyes with fingers.

5.Clean index finger with water to get white pain off fingers. Then dip index finger in red paint and outline the shape of a spider web around forehead, cheek, and upper nose. Fill in the space with red paint making sure not to touch white paint around eyes.

6. Clean index finger with water. Place paintbrush into black paint and outline around the red paint to enhance spider web shape.

7. Finally create black lines with paintbrush going from the white space from eyes to forehead, black lines from white space of eyes to cheekto create spider web details by forming arches together on the black lines

8. When finished, show client finished result with mirror.
