1 | SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Able to lead and manage a multi-shift Heavy Duty Truck Service department. Maximizing our customer experience from initial contact, diagnose, communication, repair approval, closing repair orders to ultimately satisfying our customer and receiving payment for services. Primary point of contact for key fleet accounts in support of their truck service needs and solutions. You will be responsible for the development, support and the marketing efforts of truck service solutions for yourmarkets dealership. Works closely with our management team and our sales professionals toward the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with our company’s vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the truck service area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs.Able to leverage our strengths departmentally, by dealership and as a Company.
2 | MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manages our service team in every step maximizing the repair process for our customers. Develops a business plan and strategy for our market leveraging our Service Departments strengths that ensures the attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Act as a liaison with our manufactures regarding all service support bulletins, notices and programs for our dealerships.
  • Develops new and strengthens our existing customer relationships. As a primary point of contact for our dealership’s key Fleet customers.
  • Maximizing the flow of repair orders within the Service department and effectively working closely with our Parts department to insure timely and efficient results.
  • Communicate across all departments our customer opportunities and will provide solutions. This forum will include monthly management and department meetings.
  • As our fleet customers’ needs evolve and opportunities develop, this role will coordinate communications with our management team.
  • Lead by example and embrace our Elite Support principles and our Company’s commitment to Safety.
  • Report to the General Managerregarding progress on issues that are identified, pending or resolved.
  • Insure that our dealerships Technicians are properly trained and that necessary certifications are maintained and updated appropriately.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Heavy Duty Truck Service Manager:
Understanding the industry and our role as a dealership supporting our customer’s fleet service needs and partnering with our manufactures. Minimum 10 years sales and management experience is preferred.
3 | ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to our Dealerships Fixed Operations Manager. In addition, this position is able to support all other departments as needed to support our customers experience and meeting their expectations.
