HEART OF ENGLAND – TROPHIES
In order to qualify for a Heart of England Group Trophy the claimant must be a current Heart of England Group member. The claimant, or immediate family member or crew of the claimant, must also have helped at an EGB event during the current year when the claim is made.
ACORN TROPHY –Presented by Sue Oakes and awarded to the junior rider aged 8-13
ADMIRAL TROPHY – Presented by Midland ERG and awarded to Mountain and Moorland and all Native breeds gaining most points in all types of rides
BEACON TROPHY – Presented by Sue Oakes and awarded to senior rider and horse/pony combination gaining most points in all types of rides
BEST ARAB/PART BRED ARAB – presented by Ann Chapman and awarded to pure bred / part-bred Arab gaining most points in all types of rides
DARK FLIGHT VETERAN TROPHY – presented by Ann Chapman and awarded to horse/pony 18 years or over gaining most points in all rides and divisions
ER TROPHY - presented by Mercia EHPS and awarded to horse/pony and rider combination gaining most points in endurance rides
HEART OF ENGLAND TROPHY – presented by Sue Oakes and awarded to the young rider (14-21 years) and horse/pony combination gaining most points in all types of rides
HERCULES TROPHY – presented by Sue Buckley and awarded to horse/pony combination both competing at Open level gaining most points from all types of rides
HORSESHOE TROPHY – presented by Heart of England Group and awarded to highest placed group rider at Golden Horseshoe ride – in class order
NOVICE CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY- presented by Sally Farrall and awarded to novice horse/pony gaining most points in competitive rides in their first competitive season (Green MasterCard)
PLEASURE RIDE TROPHY – presented by Ann Chapman and awarded to horse/pony with most km during the season
PLEASURE RIDE TROPHY (NON EGB MEMBER) – presented by Janet Fentiman and awarded to horse/pony and non EGB/Associate member with most km during the season
RADMAAN MEMORIAL TROPHY – presented by Donna and Nigel Taylor and awarded to the rider gaining most points on two or more horses in any type of ride (to be applied for)
TAROLY TROPHY – presented by Ann Chapman and awarded to horse/pony not registered with any breed society gaining most points in all types of ride
CHEVIN WARDOUR TROPHY - presented by Victoria Smith and awarded to horse/pony at any level gaining the most points in GERs up to 55km in distance. Points gained for rides at a higher distance than 55km shall not count towards this trophy
20/20 AWARD - presented by Steve Bates and awarded to horses and ponies that have competed in twenty consecutive graded endurance or competitive endurance rides and achieved a minimum of a completion in each of those twenty rides. To qualify for the award the 20th ride must have been in the qualifying season
TEAM SHIELD - Team of 3 horse & rider combinations (do not have to ride together)
1 competing up to and including 50 km
1 competing up to and including 80 km
1 competing at any distance
Points from best 5 rides for each will be taken
CREW AWARD – Awarded to the top crew for the season
HELEN FARRALL MEMORIAL AWARD - Presented by David and Sally Farrall and awarded to the Unsung Hero nominated by a Heart of England Group Member
THE ROSTER TROPHY for Unsung Hero Perpetual Trophy presented by John and Di Latham - To be awarded annually at the Awards Evening to a person who has given unfailing service to Heart of England Group to be decided each year by the Heart of England Committee.
