EXCHANGE STRENGTHENS FAMILIES BY HONORING DESERVING YOUTH

Many youth face tough problems and work hard to overcome them. These students display drive and nobility to finish school instead of dropping out. The Exchange Club of (your town) has named (student) as the A.C.E. of the (Month/Year). (Include a few sentences about the recipient; school, higher education plans, activities, parents’ names, etc.)

The club (presented/will present) the award on (date/time), during the club’s meeting. (Add information about the ceremony, what was given as an award, etc.)

The A.C.E. (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) Award recognizes high school students who have had to overcome great physical, emotional, or social obstacles and are now eligible for high school graduation.

This positive program accomplishes two key objectives. First, it helps encourage students to overcome their hardships and get back on track toward a high school diploma. Second, the award recognizes those students who are often overlooked for their accomplishments. This special recognition serves as a powerful example to all students that hard work and perseverance really do pay.

Each month, Exchange Clubs throughout the United States and Puerto Rico honor a young man or woman as their club’s A.C.E. of the Month. These outstanding youth go on to compete for the Club A.C.E. of the Year, District A.C.E. of the Year, and, ultimately, the National A.C.E. of the Year Award.

EXCHANGE STRENGTHENS AMERICAN FAMILIES WITH CITIZENSHIP AWARD

Americans take great pride in their country and our youth are no exception. The Exchange Club of (your town)(presented/will present) the Young Citizenship Award to (student) during a special club meeting on (date/time).

(Include a few sentences about the recipient; school, activities, parents’ names, etc.)

(Add information about the ceremony, what was given as an award, etc.)

The purpose of the Young Citizenship Award is to find and reward students who strive to be good citizens at home, at school and in the community. These are hard working, active students who cooperate with teachers and parents.

The program seeks to prove to these kids that good citizenship counts — to show them that their conduct and attitude is noticed and appreciated. Recognition at such an important stage in their development encourages them to maintain a high standard of conduct as they mature and grow into adulthood.
