Greetings!

On November 10th through 12th2017, The Fortnightly Club of Catskill will hold its 22ndannual Festival of Trees. This year’s theme is “A Christmas to Remember”.The Festival is a fundraiser for The Fortnightly Club of Catskill and is an exhibition of exquisitely decorated (artificial) trees. The event begins with an Opening Night Reception on Friday evening November 10th from 7-10:00pm, and concludes Sunday afternoon. Local businesses sponsor the trees. Local business employees, adult and children’s groups and clubs, professional florists, business owners, and individuals volunteer to decorate the trees. Wreaths supplied by The Fortnightly Club are also decorated by volunteers. All trees and wreaths are sold by silent auction at the Festival. There will also be live music provided by local church and school groups, professional and amateur musicians and vocalists. We also have a Café serving homemade soups and desserts, and other refreshments. Santa is available throughout the festival for a visit with the children, as well as Saturday morning for our very special Breakfast with Santa. We also have a vendor area full of wonderful gifts for sale. There is truly something for everyone!

We hope that you will consider lending your talents to our event by decorating one of the trees for display and auction at the Festival. Please fill out the attached Decorators’ Contract and return it to us at the address on the contract. This event has become highly anticipated by the entire community and we appreciate the volunteer work so many provide to help our Club present the affair.
