We’re currently on the lookout for a talented Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our finance team in Sydney. The Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for the invoicing of clients across a range of job types, correct revenue procedures and take ups, reporting and liaising with account directors.

Key Function

Billing & Job Costs

  • Generate and produce agency billing and invoices
  • Assist Account Directors with reconciliations and understanding of invoicing
  • Manage and action outcomes from monthly JCRs
  • Investigate and analyse with variances and large reconciliations
  • Oversee and manage database
  • Assist with any enquiries and escalate when appropriate
  • Manage, produce and oversee Kaimera invoicing and revenue for a media company

Revenue

  • Assist with recording and reconciling revenuein line with company policy, accounting and audit standards. Assist Finance Director to reconcile revenue against budgets and forecasts
  • Assist Finance Director to ensure timely and accurate revenue is recognised on a monthly basis

Revenue & Forecasting

  • Work collaboratively with Account Directors to run monthly forecasts.
  • Investigate and interrogate forecasts when required
  • Assist in the preparation of Forecasting analysis
  • Understanding of revenue and ensuring correct parameters are set in the system

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in an accounts receivable role in an advertising agency (preferred)
  • Excellent/Advanced Excel skills
  • Has ability and interestin reconciliations and investigative accounting
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work with non-finance teams
  • Strong administrative and time management abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with agency finance systems such as Pegasus or BCC
