Accounts Receivable Assistant: Sydney

We’re currently on the lookout for a talented Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our finance team in Sydney. The Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for the invoicing of clients across a range of job types, correct revenue procedures and take ups, reporting and liaising with account directors.

Key Function

Billing & Job Costs

Generate and produce agency billing and invoices
Assist Account Directors with reconciliations and understanding of invoicing
Manage and action outcomes from monthly JCRs
Investigate and analyse with variances and large reconciliations
Oversee and manage database
Assist with any enquiries and escalate when appropriate
Manage, produce and oversee Kaimera invoicing and revenue for a media company

Revenue

Assist with recording and reconciling revenuein line with company policy, accounting and audit standards. Assist Finance Director to reconcile revenue against budgets and forecasts
Assist Finance Director to ensure timely and accurate revenue is recognised on a monthly basis

Revenue & Forecasting

Work collaboratively with Account Directors to run monthly forecasts.
Investigate and interrogate forecasts when required
Assist in the preparation of Forecasting analysis
Understanding of revenue and ensuring correct parameters are set in the system

Essential Skills:

Minimum of 1-year experience in an accounts receivable role in an advertising agency (preferred)
Excellent/Advanced Excel skills
Has ability and interestin reconciliations and investigative accounting
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to work with non-finance teams
Strong administrative and time management abilities
Excellent attention to detail
Experience with agency finance systems such as Pegasus or BCC
