ACCOMMODATION AGREEMENT

1.

The issue of this agreement is accommodation in the Dormitory of School of Traffic and Transport Maribor.

2.

The landlord provides accommodation for the student/guestin room No. ____, floor ____ of the Dormitory of School of Traffic and Transport Maribor.The student/guest is entitled to use the available inventory and facilities.

Any additional electrical appliance is to be installed only with the prior permission of the landlord. The student/guest is to cover the additional monthly rate for electricity, determined by the landlord.

The student/guest signs this agreement forthe period from ______to ______. Due to rational use of rooms, the landlord beholds the right to move the student/guest into another room during the above agreed period of accommodation.

The landlord also beholds the right to close the dormitory during the period of academic or public holidays. The student/guest is to be informed about the planned closure of dormitory before the agreement is signed. During the closure, the dormitory is not heated and regular controls are run by the authorised person.

The student/guest has to use the room, facilities and appliances in compliance with the house rules. In case of breaking the rules, the student/guest loses the right to accommodation and is to move out without prior notice.

5.

The student/guest cannot terminate this agreement during the agreed period of accommodation In case of justifiable grounds for termination, agreed on by both parties, the agreement can be terminated with a (one) month's notice.

6.

If the student/guest stops using the accommodation services before the end of the agreed term, he/she has to pay the accommodation costs until the end of the initiallyagreed period.

7.

The accommodation costs for the current month are to be paid by the 20th of the month, after the student/guest receives the Bill of Payment from the dormitory management.

In case of non-payment, also after the written warning, the student/guest loses the right to accommodation without prior notice.

The accommodation costs are defined in compliance with the Rules on Residence in Halls of Residence (Slovenian Gazette, No. 97/2006).

8.

The resident is to read and acknowledge the contents of house rules before signing the agreement. The document is available in the dormitory office and on the boards on each floor of the dormitory.

9.

The landlord has to hand over the room and facilities in good condition and provide regular maintenance.

10.

The student/guest is to use the room and facilities in accordance with the House Rules.

11.

The student/guest has to inform the landlord about malfunctions and/or defects immediately after their occurrence.

12.

The landlord has to check the room and facilities and write a report prior to student's/guest's move-in.

13.

The student/guest agrees that the landlord can offer the bed to other candidates before the student's/guest's move-in.

14.

The student/guest can move in when this agreement is signed by both parties.

15.

In order to provide safety and preventing misuse of the rooms and facilities occasional control may be performed by authorised persons.

16.

Any additional questions regarding realisation of this agreement can be addressed toMateja Turk, M.Sc., the headmistress of the Secondary School of Traffic and Transport.

17.

Any conflicts will be dealt with consensually. If this is not possible, the conflict will be brought in front of the District Court in Maribor.

18.

The agreement is issued in two copies, one forthe student/guest and the other for the landlord.
