Academic programs introduced/offered

PG program on “Condition Monitoring,Control and Protection of Electrical Apparatus” was launched in june, 2009 and 13 students registered in this program. The 1st batch completed their M-Tech out in 2011. The 2nd and 3rd batch are continuing their M.Tech program. Presently 13 students of 2nd batch are working towards their dissertation where as 14 students of 3 batch admitted in the session July 2011.

This PG program was the flagship activity of CORE and made remarks.

Future Activities Planned :

(a)One day Workshop in the area of ‘Transformer Insulation Oil Sampling’ has been planned on Jan, 27th 2013 for engineering staff of TIFAC CORE Industry Partner HPSEBL, Shimla JEs/ SSA . 15 no. of JEs/SSA from HPSEBL, Shimla already confirmed for Participation.
