I / Opening of the Meeting
1.  / The meeting was called to order at 4:02 p.m.
2.  / It was moved by Avenarius, seconded by Burns, and carried to approve the minutes of Wednesday, November 09, 2016.
II / Reports and Announcements / Presenter
1.  / Spring Retreat Agenda
The Spring Retreat will be January 11, 2017 from 11:00-3:00 p.m. in the Bears Den Conference Room. / Travis Nelson
2.  P / Provost Announcements
Some upcoming things on campus regarding assessment are the following:
·  There will be an assessment showcase during spring exam week.
·  The office is working with the Education Advisory Board on two platforms, one is called Academic Performance Solutions and the other one is called Student Success Collaborative.
·  Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) organize presentations around different data points. If you have ideas about topics, please email John Schliesmann. / Patrick Hagen
III / Unfinished Business / Presenter
1.  / Proposed Approval Pathways for Suspended Programs
There was considerable discussion about the process and path for the suspension of a program. Hagen will edit as suggested for review at the next meeting. / Patrick Hagen
VI / New Business / Presenter
1.  / Applied Computing Degree Authorization
With no major concerns from the other committees and no further questions or concerns the following action was taken:
MOTION: It was moved by Burns, seconded by Avenarius, and carried to approve the degree authorization for Applied Computing. / Lisa Landgraf
2.  / Form B Evaluation [Environmental Horticulture]
Members reviewed the sub committees report and drafted a final recommendation. Chair Nelson will formally write the recommendation based on discussion and approval of Environmental Horticulture will take place spring semester. / Travis Nelson
V / Close Meeting
1.  / The next meeting is Wednesday, January 11, 2017 (11:00-3:00)
2.  / The meeting adjourned at 5:10 p.m.
