Abraxas Youth & Family Services, a leader in the juvenile justice field, is seeking qualified candidates for a Therapist position at our growing outpatient treatment facility, The Abraxas Counseling Center, located in Columbus, OH.

The position is responsible for a caseload of clients and their families who are deficient in basic life skills; performing home-based services and assisting the client by performing the following duties:
Maintain a client caseload with appropriate service plans.
Enforce program/facility norms, rules, and behavioral standards.
Coordinate and develop appropriate service plans through the utilization of various identified resources to assist the client with life skills necessary in the community.
Prepare service plans and aftercare plans which may include utilizing services such as AOD, legal, behavioral, medical, educational, vocational, family, and psychosocial for each client and update and monitor such plans in a timely manner.
Supervise client activities and prepare required reports of the behavior and progress of clients. Daily, weekly, and monthly reports are required as well as month end reports, incident reports as needed.
Coordinate efforts with the courts, probation department, schools, employers, job training, recovery programs, counseling, family, or other social service agencies and community programs to meet the clients’ individualized needs.
Maintain regular contacts with referral agency staff assigned to each client.
Develop and maintain resources for clients including a community based resource listing and curriculums. Performs groups and training on a weekly basis for clients to include a regular schedule of client curriculums and informative materials.
Arrange and conduct home visits with the client's family throughout the referral. Meet required guidelines for number of hours spent with each client and family.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field, with 2 years experience with juvenile population or;
MA/MS Degree with 1 year experience with juvenile population, and;
Licensed Social Worker or
Licensed Clinical Counselor
Valid Driver's License
Be at least 21 years of age.
