Job Purpose
Under the direction of the Sales & Marketing Manager, create a sales and marketing strategy for AbilityNet’s accessibility services to the Corporate Market, plus plan and implement sales and marketing activities to meet targets for retention, growth and profitability.
Excellence in sales, negotiation and marketing is the ultimate goal and objective.
Accountabilities
·  Develop the sale and delivery of AbilityNet’s services in-line with the organisations overall strategic plan
·  To develop sufficient knowledge of AbilityNet services and competitors to assist in meeting agreed sales and marketing objectives and targets
·  To develop market knowledge, identifying key trends and changes and ensuring this is fed back into product development
·  Develop, maintain and improve business relations with all customers of AbilityNet
·  Plan and implement sales, customer retention and business development
·  Plan and implement marketing strategy, including advertising and PR
·  Provide input into AbilityNet’s strategic direction through management meetings and online discussions where appropriate
·  Disseminate market information to relevant managers across the organisation to support business development as well as press, marketing and other promotional activity
·  Act as an ambassador and role model for the organisation
·  Achieve targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth
Financial
·  To develop and manage a pipeline of defined opportunities
·  Provide accurate and up to date reporting on all aspects of sales
·  To support the fundraising strategy and activity as required
·  Plan and manage sales and marketing resources to meet agreed budgets
Delivery
·  Maintain and implement administration processes with the Sales Support Coordinator for relevant reporting and planning systems
·  Manage reporting of management and financial information for sales
·  Maintain and develop corporate image, brand and reputation
Communications
·  Identify other potential business opportunities and pass these to the appropriate member within AbilityNet.
·  Plan and manage internal communications and awareness of corporate brand, direction, mission, aims and activities.
·  To brief management on trends and opportunities.
Public Relations
·  Protect and develop the company's brands via suitable PR activities and intellectual property management.
Resources
·  Manage any assigned staff members to ensure that they are suitably utilised in line with any budgets and strategic direction.
·  To undertake any other task consistent with the scope of the post, as requested by the Sales & Marketing Manager
·  Carry out any other duties necessary to progress the work of AbilityNet
Candidate Knowledge
Qualifications and Experience:
·  Financially literate with good attention to detail
·  Must be able to demonstrate success and experience in senior level account management and negotiation of large contracts.
·  Ideally have experience of working with a technology company but not essential.
·  Must have experience of developing links with large corporate clients.
·  A proven successful track record in selling, ideally in IT accessible related services
·  Experience of managing marketing agency activities an advantage
·  Proven experience and competence in budget management, composing & compiling financial & business documentation.
·  People-management.

Person Specification
Circumstances:
·  Able to commute to AbilityNet offices and travel throughout the UK.
·  Able to work extended hours on occasions.
·  Able to spend nights away from home, as required
