Maura leads the team in number of attempts at the free throw line with 55, and is also the team’s top defender. Against third-ranked Miss Porter’s, Maura finished with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, and 1 block, and in a defensive standout performance this year, Maura held Cushing’s highly-nominated player scoreless while pulling down 13 rebounds on the way to a 9-point victory.

In practice, she is always trying to get her teammates motivated to do their best. Had an injury at the start of the year and missed two games, but has worked hard to get back on the court. Also, she has played her best basketball against the stronger teams on our schedule because she is not afraid to take on any challenge. Second leading scorer on our team and a tough player/person to replace next year.
