DearSir/Madam

A30 Stowford to Lifton westbound resurfacing

Highways England operates, maintains and improves England’s motorways and major A roads. I am writing to let you know that we will shortly be carrying out roadworks near to you. A map detailing the location is included within this letter.

The works

Inspection has revealed the road surface of the A30 westbound carriageway from Stowford to Lifton has deteriorated and needs to be resurfaced. Whilst in the area we will also take the opportunity to repair a patch of carriageway between Sourton and Stowford. By carrying out this work now, we will maintain the network in good condition for our customers andavoid the need for disruptive unplanned closures in the future. We would like to apologise in advance for any disruption which may occur.

Please note: our programme of works is weather dependent and adverse conditions on other sites may affect the commencement of this scheme. We will always aim to notify you of any major changes within the programme via advance roadside warning signs.
